New Superman painting I started a week or so ago. Was great to make a return to doing some nice digital painting fun. Need to get myself a copy of painter 11 now, miss playing around with those beautiful digital brushes.

EDIT: hehe just noticed some similarities between this and the apes below.

Edit: Added the final. Lots of things I'm unhappy with but time to move on and start something new. Thanks for the comments you guys (and gal). :D

"The Eternal Struggle"

The Amazing Action Ape faces off against the Cosmic Monkey in a fight for survival, for dominance, the relic held by the one true king of the primates, the Gamma Bananas.

Something I started up today, decided to post up the sketch idea, and the final linework. Should have this baby coloured up tomorrow!

Red Sonja, Now with colour!
Used this as an opportunity to learn a bit more about photoshop. Had a blast trying to go for that retro look.

EDIT: Made some tweaks this morning with fresh eyes.
EDIT: Re-enabled comments now that blogger has integrated SPAM filters into the section. God damn was I ever getting a lot of spam. More spam than any man should have.

Pen and Ink

Tried to channel some Bruce Timm/Sergio Toppi to create this drawing. Haven't had much practice doing figures with crowquill pen and ink so this was a nice little change of pace.

Fanexpo 2010, was an awesome time.

Great to see old friends, and it was great to meet new ones.

Here's a few doodles I did during the convention.

Life after school, busy. Havent painted or drawn any cars for a long time, was nice to be back.

Expect more girls with cars drawings in the future. Too much fun.
