Nameless Fun


Here is a speedpaint I did tonight, about 45 minutes. I pictured some sort of ritualistic summoning of a wind djinn. I think I might take this concept and work it up to some sort of finished level at a later day.

EDIT: I think I may turn this into a WIP post or something, give some insight into my personal painting process. Roz/Lettie, Hopefully what is going on is a little clearer now. LOL

Heyyy that's a big improvement over the first, as far as clarity goes. I like the first one more though, and I'd say that this is why:

I think your composition is lost a little bit, though. The hard contrast between the cool and warm (which are almost like two bars down the page), sort of break it up a bit. Maybe if you put a little more warm colours in the cool, and little more cool in the warm, you'll have more harmony... but not too much!

The mixture of light and dark add for nice harmony, though.

But I'm totally diggin' it. How long did you spend additionally on this piece?
