The Way of the Warrior.

Back in 2016, I had moved to the sunshine coast in BC.  My wife and I would randomly drive around the coast exploring the different pockets of communities that were tucked away in various parts of the coast.  One day we took a trip down into a community called Robert's creek, and I spotted an old building on the side of the road with a huge sign on the side.

Having grown up in the 80's and early 90's, martial arts was a big part of my personality programming due to the massive push it received in pop culture.  I had always wanted to learn Karate, but never had an opportunity.  This was my chance.  I went down the following Tuesday, did a trial class, and then enrolled right afterwards.  I was hooked!

Seikokai Shitu-Ryu Karate. (Then Satokai, now possibly closed permanently.)

I trained for about two years until my daughter was born, attending classes became a little harder to get to, and then the great insanity happened and pretty much put a stop to it for a good chunk of time.  I managed to get back on the wagon about 2 years ago and it's felt great to be back.  Enjoy some Karate themed studies and artwork I've done over the past few years.
